Steampunk Witch Doctor

I am a huge fan of everything steampunk, but noticed that there is a bias towards western-influenced themes and characters. As a South African myself I thought it would be fun to explore how the wonders of Steampunkery would influence people in other parts of the world such as in this Cape Town train station.
I wanted to focus more on the 'punk' than the steam (not just the hair) and depict a scene that goes against the conventional ways in colonial Africa.

I also feel that the entertainment industry is seriously lacking in strong female villains of colour and I hoped to counter that with this piece too!
